The West Bloomfield School District is undertaking a collaborative process that directly ties its strategic visioning with short and long term planning. Due to continued significant reductions in funding from the State of Michigan, public schools are faced with the major challenge of preserving educational excellence during these difficult economic times. 

To maintain our reputation as a leading school district, we need your input to implement the many ideas put forward by the community during our recent Coffee Talks, Superintendent’s Parent Communication Network and West Bloomfield Board of Education meetings. We are seeking parents, teachers, staff, students and community members who would like to serve on committees to review and create program and budget recommendations to continue the evolution of our school district’s Strategic 

Visioning Plan
Committees will include Curricula and Instructional, Building and Enrollment Planning, Athletics and Co-Curriculars, District Operations, Human Resources, Bus Transportation, Community Education Programs, Revenue Enhancements, and Communication.

The committees include:

  • Athletics & Co-Curriculars
  • Building and Enrollment Planning
  • Bus Transportation
  • Revenue Enhancement, Communication & Community Education
  • Curricula/Instructional at 3 Levels, Elementary, Middle and High School
  • Human Resources
  • Operations
